Meet Your Therapist

Samantha Goldrick is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) who specialises in working with people who have experienced complex, relational trauma(s) throughout their lives and struggle with their impacts. These include issues like childhood trauma, Domestic and Family Violence, bullying, Workplace Trauma and Burnout.

Samantha is client-led and does not shy away from tackling things that are considered ‘too much’. She will work to meet you where you’re at; collaborating with you on your goals for counselling and developing a pathway towards meeting them.

She provides trauma-informed, strengths-based, feminist, inclusive and affirming approach to counselling; drawing on a range of modalities to inform her approach including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Mindfulness Techniques

  • Self-Compassion

  • Somatic Techniques

A safe space in a neutral place

Samantha offers counselling sessions online via Telehealth and in-person in Sydney’s Inner West.

There is a growing body of evidence to show that telehealth therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy. For those with busy schedules, difficulty attending due to travel time, long commutes and competing responsibilities; virtual therapy approaches are a great and accessible way to continue to prioritise your mental health
